The Vancouver MINI Cooper Club -- officially known as the BC MINI Cooper Society -- is a non-profit organization offering new MINI owners the opportunity to share the MINI experience through club drives, meets and participation in existing car events throughout Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Washington State.
What started off as an online idea in an MSN forum in March 2002 as the newly re-launched MINI hit North American markets, has now developed into a growing and vibrant club, with membership increasing each year.
The VMCC website, the main hub of communication for the club, features the latest in Club news, drive and event details, MINI photos and links, and a sign-up form for new members.
Mostly, the VMCC prides itself on grassroots events, regular annual drives to popular destinations such as Whistler, Mt. Baker and Harrison Lake, and inner city drives to maintain ties to the club's roots. Events often involve our two main MINI dealerships in Yaletown and Richmond, and the club has also brought on several Canadian-based MINI parts dealers, including Coopersport Canada and Hunter Performance. The club is thankful for these partnerships and looks forward to co-hosting many fun events in the years to come.
